BLUEMONT, VA. Here are photos of the Indian Village hosted by Sanctuary on the Trail. See a Native American traditional harvest ceremony with children bringing in the harvest. Next is the ribbon cutting by the Village Montessori School at Bluemont co-founder Toby Gress complete with Native American Indian honor guard, teachers, volunteers and supporters. This event is a result of much work between Sanctuary on the Trail volunteers with Ben Drenning, the Montessori's school lead primary director along with Native American artists who helped teach 40+ children how to build the village, thanks to generous support from Ken and Julia Falke and the Virginia Commission for the Arts grant. | Slide Show Above Contains |
