Victory requires great sacrifice.

Many times we are faced with scenarios in life that we just do not understand. We go through things physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, financially and many other ways. In each of these situations I am reminded of different scripture such as Proverbs 3:5, 6; Job 13:15 and there are others that will reveal themselves shortly.

In the first we are told that we are to lean not to our own understanding, which simply put to me means, that in many situations we face we are not capable of getting through them with the limited understanding that we have. We are also told in all our ways acknowledge Him. In this we see that we are to give in to a higher power, being and meaning God as God is the “Him” in this verse. We are to let our minds become His, our actions be as His would better yet we are simply and freely just meant and directed to give in completely. Lastly we are told that He will direct our paths.

Have you ever needed to get somewhere ands didn’t have a map or GPS system, have you ever been lost and your pride was so busted you hated to ask for directions? Well here we all can plainly see that we will be guided by the creator Himself and in that case we can never become lost in anything we do as long as we have followed His commands.

Next we see a very powerful statement made by a powerful man. “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him”. You may say this is Job, he was not powerful, he was just a mortal man that lost everything and then got it back, etc. OK, how many of us could go through what he went through and it be said of us that we did not “Charge God foolishly”, in other words he (Job) kept his cool and made no mistakes in talking back to God, blaming God or anything else, even when his sweet loving wife said Curse God you have had enough, he said you talk like a foolish woman, basically he said shut-up I have it under control. Had he not done this he would not have made it out as soon as he did if at all. Can you imagine being in this position and then cursing God on top of it all?

Job was powerful that in this he was strong and as a result God said he was the most righteous man on the earth at the time and due to it he got back double what he lost.

Can we be like Job, can we be a person that can be said of we never charged God foolishly?

Sad to say people that come to my mind can not. When a nail breaks, money is not dropped in the back yard as these prosperity preachers declare and all these riches are not added unto them, they begin to question, doubt, murmur, complain, whisper, backbite and more. All this because of a falsehood taught on popular “Christian” TV. I can see Job talking to these “sinister ministers” as I call them as well as these “ God chargers” he would say to them what he did to his wife you are talking foolishly and better put in our modern words, “ SHUT-UP”. To Job, I would and must say AMEN!

Too many people are imprisoning themselves and allowing themselves to become bound by the things of their mind. II Timothy 1:7. We are told what we are to have because of what we have been given by the Holy Spirit, we are to have a sound mind, so sane and sound that when the devil walks by us we just laugh to scorn, we do all we can to gall the devil. Philippians 4:8 is given to tell us how and what to think and by doing so we do not come to the point where II Timothy 4:3-4 shows us.

Is it so hard for us to do the things that God has asked us to do? Shouldn’t we be willing as Job was to suffer some things, like it or not and come through it with grand marks on our exam. What is it about man that says “I must be stubborn” or “I know it all” what gives us the right to be overnight authorities, especially since the breath we breathe is granted to us by God, our loving Heavenly Father. What gives me the right to go against God’s Word (Deuteronomy 13:1-5) or to expect a blessing in some particular way?

What allows me the latitude to brandish a fist in the face of the Almighty and say I can do it my way?  II Timothy 3:1-7

Curiously people all over this planet do this and then wonder why they are not blessed, why their business failed, why they are in a state of health issues. It is time we cleaned up our act and started living as God has told us to live and follow it to the letter, and then we may just see things change, healings take place and souls of our family members being saved.

We in these last of the last days will see division in families because of the truth of Christ and the denial of the truth. People are so in tune with the enemy coming in to their homes through this divination called “Christian” TV that they can not go to the bathroom without a word form their “prophet”. It makes me sick that people I know personally are so hell bound and bent that they can not even treat their children and grandchildren in a proper way because they are so bound in their “Christian TV” they have sold out to “another Jesus”  as Paul spoke of in II Corinthians 11:4.

It will not be easy, you may have to leave (Hate) your family as Christ said in Luke 14:26 In other words, if there is anything that is a competition to Him, you must retire it. Again, check your hearts and lives Christ would not do and act as you do and act, and we are to emulate Him in all things, if not we are sinning against Him.

Victory comes through great sacrifice, do you have the Job mentality, and do you have the wherewithal to serve Christ/God as we are commanded?

Do you want victory; do you wish to be on the winning side?

Are you tired of losing and feeling like you are expendable?

The answer is simple. Revelation 21:6; 22:17 Tell us exactly what to do and it is so easy.

Lay down the things in life that are an abomination, blasphemous, harmful to your body, soul and mind and come to Christ. He had guts enough to give His life FOR you, have guts enough to give your life TO Him.
